Sometimes audio will not be encoded and an error will pop-up In that case open the mkvmaudio.avs in media player or virtualdub and look at the error.

One possible cause of error is due to channel downmixing routines, if you have a MONO audio source is not possible to do a Stereo audio or even more a DPL II.


Note for 5.1ch WMV support you must configure AutoMKV audio for see Image:FFDShow_51_WMV-3.png

Click on Advanced Audio Settings and set WMV channel as 6 and codec as WMAPRO, then when you move the slider the bitrate must change BUT _48_6 must be present

Also you must configure your audio decoder (directshow decoder) as this: Image:FFDShow_51_WMV-1.png and Image:FFDShow_51_WMV-2.png

AC3 Filter Some users have reported that even [Ac3Filter] is working for making 5.1 WMA, use version 1.46b+
